Google Search is getting 'more visual, personal and human'
Back
Google I/O will be held on Wednesday, the annual event at which Google announces its latest developments. And while I/O doesn't often provide news on Google Search, this year is expected to be different. It is expected that Google will show and hopefully launch the use of AI (artificial intelligence) in Google Search. There are already rumors that Google plans to replace the classic 'ten blue links', the lists of found websites in the search results, in the search engine with a 'more visual, personal and human' layout, designed to appeal to more young people.
Magi
Google would also make it possible to communicate with the search engine. Perhaps by including the proprietary AI tool Bard in the search engine. Because while Google is working on an entirely new search engine, a team of more than 160 programmers is simultaneously working full-time on adding new features to the existing Google Search. This project, called Magi, can be released to a test group as early as next month. With Magi, searchers would be able to complete financial transactions while the search engine still features existing, lucrative search ads.
In addition, Google plans to put more emphasis on more targeted answers to questions that traditional web results cannot easily answer. You can answer follow-up questions or swipe images.
All in all, the Google company's search strategy would mainly focus on refining the content when there is no right answer. That moving away from the traditional 'ten blue links' can have major consequences for site owners, publishers and content creators, we may hear more about at Google I/O.
